Nick Cannon: People Without Melanin Are A Little Less Than Human (Satire)

(Satire, for the most part)

Noted melaninologist and distinguished Louis Farrakhan professor of Black Supremacy at WeHæte University (WeHateU.edu) Nick Cannon discussed the proven scientific evils of white people on his YouTube podcast “Cannon’s Class.” “When you see a person that has a lack of pigment, a lack of melanin, they fear that they will be annihilated,” he said, without providing references to studies or other supporting scientific evidence. “So, therefore, however they got the power, they had a lack of compassion. Melanin comes with compassion, melanin comes with soul.  We call it soul. You know soul brothers and sisters. That’s the melanin that connects us. So the people that don’t have it, and I’m going to say this carefully, are a little less than human, only three-fifths.”

He further supported his case stating: “They didn’t have the power of the sun, the sun then started to deteriorate their skin, so then they’re acting out of fear, they’re acting out of low self-esteem, they’re acting out of a deficiency,” he said. “So, therefore, the only way that they can act is evil. They have to rob, steal, rape, kill in order to survive.”

Without generalizing, Cannon provided his academic conclusion: “They had to be savages, they had to be barbaric, because they’re in these Nordic mountains, they’re in these rough environments, so they’re acting as animals,” he said. “So they are the ones that are actually closer to animals, they are the ones that are actually the true savages.”

Anti-Reverse Racism Group (ARRG) CEO I.M. White called on Cannon to apologize for his “harmful” comments.  The Americans Without-Melanin Committee (AWC) tweeted, “@NickCannon spreading anti-melanin conspiracy theories about ‘barbaric’ whites and ‘true savages’ to millions of his followers is abhorrent and unacceptable. His message of hate has no place in our society and should be condemned by all people of good conscience.” StandWithUs InTheShade Executive Director Michael Pigmentfree said Cannon “willfully spread the most egregious anti-melanin conspiracy theories & hate on his show.”

However, contrary to generally accepted debate principles, Cannon placed the burden of proof on critics. “Anyone who knows me knows that I have no hate in my heart nor malice intentions,” said Cannon. “I do not condone hate speech nor the spread of hateful rhetoric. We are living in a time when it is more important than ever to promote unity and understanding.” and “I encourage more healthy dialogue and welcome any experts,” Cannon maintained, “clergy, or spokespersons to any of my platforms to hold me accountable and correct me in any statement that I’ve made that has been projected as negative. Until then, I hold myself accountable for this moment and take full responsibility because My intentions are only to show that as a beautiful human species we have way more commonalities than differences.”

According to TechCrunch, YouTube took action against a collection of controversial figures synonymous with race-based hate, kicking the cluster of major channels off its platform on Wednesday.  The company deleted six channels: Nick Cannon‘s own channel and the affiliated channel for the National Melanin Institute, far left racist pseudo-science purveyor Richard “Professor Griff” Griffin, black supremacist outlets New Black Panther Party and Only Black Lives Killed By Police Matter (OBLKBPM) and late black supremacist and former Nation of Yahweh leader Yahweh ben Yahweh.

“We have strict policies prohibiting hate speech on YouTube, and terminate any channel that repeatedly or egregiously violates those policies. After updating our guidelines to better address supremacist content, we saw a 5x spike in video removals and have terminated over 25,000 channels for violating our hate speech policies,” a YouTube spokesperson said in a statement provided to TechCrunch.
